This page outlines to you, as a non Rotarian, what Rotary is, and what it’s all about.

The Rotary Club of Heathfield & Waldron – ‘The Club’ is one of 79 Clubs that form Rotary District 1120. You can find out more about our district here..

We are a body of men and women structured to help others, and in so doing foster friendship and acquaintance through meeting business professionals and principals of a like mind.

‘The Club’ is structured as several committees, we meet weekly and as a council and a business meeting once a month. Each committee has a role, which is carried out throughout the year. The committees may change slightly in name but the function is usually the name given to the committee. The current years’ committees are;


Fund Raising Mark Deacon Come up with ideas to raise funds for charities
Community  Trevor Goldsmith Seek out local needs and assist with charitable requirements & Schools
International Peter Williams Help with disaster appeals and international causes
Public Relations John Kay  PR for the Club
Foundation Bob Robinson Raise money for Rotary foundation projects
Membership Services Roger Clark Look after the running of the club, and seeking new members
2000 Club Lawrence Muffett A local lottery, and raise money for charitable causes,
Vocational Trevor Goldsmith Liase with Schools and Vocation projects
Secretary Ken Macleod  
Treasurer David Robinson  


And of course, Health & Safety, and other officers. Not forgetting our President: Trevor !!!
